Make the World Go Away

This piece was sculpted by hand in polymer clay. The base measures 5 inches long and 3 1/2 inches wide. The piece is 4 inches tall. This is an expression of grief and sadness. The blond woman weeps into her hands and her long blond hair obscures her face. The inspiration for this piece was my Grandmother's passing. My feelings of loss and sadness, and the need to be all alone, without the intrusions of the rest of the world. Hence the title Make the World Go Away.
