Blue Silver and Green Miniature Dragon Pot Climber

Description

This unique and whimsical dragon was sculpted to hang (or climb) on your potted plants. She was sculpted by hand using Premo polymer clay and is a one of a kind creation. Her front feet were sculpted around a wire armature shaped to fit the rim of a ceramic pot. She hangs very comfortably and securely as she peers up at the pretty flowers. These dragon pot climbers add a fun little touch of whimsy to any plant, and they won't even nibble on the leaves! I textured the dragon's skin to resemble scales and colored it with shades of blue and purple Pearl Ex powders for a beautiful iridescent shimmer. This dragon has triangular plates running down the center of her back. I colored the plates with silver Pearl Ex powder and added a tiny gold heart at the back of her head. This is a very sweet and loving dragon who enjoys green plants and pretty flowers. She has golden eyes and I colored her belly scales with gold Pearl Ex as well. Her wings hug her body and were sculpted from green Premo polymer clay which I colored with blue Pearl Ex powder, creating a metallic blue green hue. After curing I sealed the entire dragon with high gloss glaze to protect the Pearl Ex powders and create a more durable piece. This cute dragon pot climber measures about 7 inches long from the tip of her tail to the end of her nose. She can also hang on a variety of surfaces, allowing you to add a whimsical little surprise to any area of your home. Hang her from the corner of a picture, the edge of a vase, on your spice rack- you can have a lot of fun with this whimsical little creature! You can purchase this dragon here:
