My Bio
I'm an artist and crafter of many talents (craft ADD- LOL). I make polymer clay sculptures (lots of fantasy, as well as whimsical and realistic), hand sewn cloth dolls for collecting and children, jewelry, teddy bears and stuffed animals, knit items, plush World of Warcraft characters, and much more. I sell my work at creativecritters.artfire.com. I love animals, nature, working out, gardening, and a huge variety of craft and art forms. I also enjoy reading, and many of my fantasy sculptures were inspired by books I've read. Of course, there's a lot more to me, but I figure I'll keep it fairly short and sweet.

I've been having a lot of fun working on this wedding cake topper and things are coming along quite nicely.  You can check out this post to see how I started the armatures for the Pandaren bride and groom.  After the armatures were finished I made the base.  I wanted it to resemble a stone floor so I mixed several shades of brown and gray polymer clay together and then used my stone texture plate to create the look I wanted.  I cut a free form shape from the clay, making sure it was large enough to hold the bride and groom, but not too large.  This does have to fit on top of a wedding cake after all. Then I set the base aside and got bac

Pandaren are large bipedial panda-like humanoids that live in mountainous bamboo laden areas (just like your average panda bear).  Their main homeland is in a portion of Azeroth known as Pandaria.  Personally, I think they're adorable!  I also like that Pandaren get along with any races that don't attack their homeland. In terms of the war between The Alliance and The

Since I sold my Alice Meets Mr. Caterpillar and my Cheshire Cat sculptures recently, I figured I'd better get to work adding more Alice in Wonderland pieces to my shop.I listed a handsewn Alice cloth doll which is about 12 inches tall and was sewn from muslin fabric and stuffed with polyester fiberfill.  She has hand painted blue eyes and is wearing a blue floral print dress under her white apron.  Her black shoes were painted with fabric paint as well.  She'd make a fun gift for a little girl, or an older Alice in Wonderland fan. http://www.artfire.com/modules.php?name=Shop&op=listing&product_id=1221208 I also finished another polymer clay
